The head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, Lieutenant-General Mikhail Mezintsev, announced the disappearance of 367 people detained by the Nazis at checkpoints they set up in the Ukrainian cities of Dnieper and Zaporozhye.
Mizintsev said: "From June 1 to June 16, 2022, among the detainees, the fate of 367 people is still unknown to their relatives and friends, most of whom are women and adolescents."
He explained that "at the checkpoints in the Dnieper and Zaporozhye, militants of extremist battalions carry out full-fledged searches of civilians, where all citizens suspected of being loyal to Russia or condemning the Kyiv regime are subjected to physical violence and taken in an unknown direction for interrogation."
On the other hand, Mizintsev warned of Kyiv's plans to spread fabrications in Western and Ukrainian media and the Internet against Russia in Odessa, southwest Ukraine.
"We warn in advance that in the near future these and other materials fabricated by the Kyiv regime about the alleged brutality of the Russians are planned to be widely distributed through Western and Ukrainian media as well as Internet platforms," the head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center said.
Mezintsev stressed that during the special military operation the Russian army treats the civilian population very humanely and does not target civilian infrastructure, unlike the Ukrainian armed formations.
