Nebenzia: European weapons are killing civilians in Donbass

Russia's representative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, condemned the European Union's practices regarding the situation in Ukraine, indicating that European weapons are killing civilians in Donbass.

"Brussels, through the so-called European Peace Fund, has already supplied the Ukrainian armed forces and Ukrainian nationalists with lethal weapons worth $2 billion, not counting individual military supplies through EU member states," Nebenzia said in a speech during a meeting of the Security Council.

And he indicated that "during the recent Donetsk bombing, which killed six people, including a child, cluster munitions bearing the marks of a number of European countries were used despite the fact that they had previously announced that they had completely rid themselves of such shells."

The European Union, following the lead of the United States, continues to pump military products into Ukraine, ignoring all of its export control rules.
