Neighborhood help Wörth-Hörlkofen has to raise prices

The meals served by the Wörth-Hörlkofen neighborhood help are becoming more expensive, as is the mileage allowance.

In the case of the neighborhood aid Wörth-Hörlkofen, not only has the number of operations increased again, but so have the costs.

Meal service and mileage fees need to be increased.

- 642 hours for the dwarf garden, 361 hours for driving services, 33 hours for family help: At the general meeting in the Wörth parish home, the chairwoman of the Wörth-Hörlkofen neighborhood help, Angelika Stempel, presented the 2021 deployment balance.

This brings you closer to the numbers from 2019, because in 2020 there was a “significant slump” due to Corona.

Stamp was happy about a higher amount of donations, which increased by 3430 euros compared to the previous year and amounted to a total of 9370 euros.

She thanked everyone for donating and stressed that the money was "well used and used responsibly".

Stamp also pointed out that on Friday, June 24, at 2 p.m., the Denkpfad in Hörlkofen could be explored with the memory trainers.

The memory training started again after Easter with three trainers and two courses.

"The service is very much appreciated," said Marianne Eder about the neighborhood help's meal service.

The food is prepared by the Holzer butcher shop in Wilfing and delivered to the front door by the neighborhood help service.

The price of the meal was increased from 6.50 euros to 7 euros because the costs had increased.

According to Eder, these are average prices.

They currently have a customer base of 20 people and deliver an average of 14 meals a day.

In view of the increased prices for petrol and car repairs, the meeting unanimously decided to increase the kilometer allowance for all helpers from 35 to 40 cents.

The neighborhood help Wörth-Hörlkofen offers a wide range of services.

Information about the activities was given at the general meeting in the parish hall.

Twelve children are currently being cared for in the dwarf garden, reported Micha Rohrauer.

The team also includes Sabine Wagner, Angelika Hupfer and Saskia Kapfinger.

Silvija Hofstetter reported that no actions by the reading mentor group, in which 17 people are involved, were possible during Corona.

In the meantime, they are present again in the lunchtime care, and after the Pentecost holidays, the reading sponsorship offers will start again in full.

As Andrea Worofka informed, one is now also active with brief information and photos on Facebook and Instagram.

Wörth's Mayor Thomas Gneißl (ÜPWG) thanked everyone involved in neighborhood aid and expressed his great appreciation for the work done.
