In recent years, recycling has played an increasingly central part in the lives of citizens around the world in general and in Israel in particular.

Awareness of the environment along with global warming are making everyone more involved in trying to maintain our quality of life.

The discourse on environmental protection and recycling is on the public agenda and that is why the heads of the authorities want to join and influence the residents by joining the effort and separating packaging waste for recycling.

This revolution has been led in recent years by the Tamir Recycling Corporation, with the encouragement of the public and the accessibility of information for recycling and the placement of tens of thousands of collection facilities.

In July, leading authorities will join and take part in the 'Summer of Recycling' project in collaboration with the Walla! Website, the Tamir Recycling Corporation and the local government center: Rishon Lezion, Petah Tikva, Netanya, Ramat Gan, Holon, Rehovot, Raanana, Lod, Kiryat Motzkin, Ramla Yavne, Ness Ziona, Kiryat Ono, Or Yehuda, Nesher, Sderot, Kfar Yona, Ariel, Shoham, Givat Shmuel, Afula and Ganei Tikva.

As is well known, every person in Israel produces an average of almost 1.7 kg of waste per day. In 128 local authorities in the country, orange bins are distributed, so far about 206,000 recycling bins have been placed all over the country next to collection centers

. Packaging is already at home, created by Tamir Corporation in cooperation with the companies recycling symbols, which look like small bins in the different bins (orange, blue and purple) and these make recycling much more accessible and clear. .

During the month of July we will be exposing the orange making across the country, with urban initiatives and residents ’activities around recycling the orange bins.

Looks like it's going to be a particularly orange summer.

To all of us.
