Senior drives drunk through commercial area

A 75-year-old man was out and about in the Holzkirchen-Nord commercial area on Tuesday evening with more than one per mille.
The police pulled the intoxicated driver out of the traffic.
Holzkirchen – According to the police, officials from the Holzkirchen inspection checked the 75-year-old as part of a general traffic control on Tuesday, June 14, at 7 p.m. in the Holzkirchen Nord industrial park.
The senior had a decent flag, so police conducted a breath alcohol test, which the man volunteered to take.
The value was beyond the 1.1 alcohol limit.
The senior's drunk driving came to an end, the officers secured the Holzkirchner's driver's license and vehicle key.
A blood draw was ordered and carried out by the court.
The Holzkirchner now faces criminal proceedings for driving under the influence of alcohol.
He faces a fine of 500 euros, a one-month driving ban and two points in the traffic register in Flensburg.
