Retired General John Allen is suspected of hiding the fact that he is an agent of Qatar, a supporter of terrorism.

A drama is unfolding in the United States that could have dire consequences for Israel, even if rumors have not yet aroused law enforcement and prosecutors' mouthpieces. On Monday, retired General John Allen resigned as president of the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. Serious suspicions. For about six months, Allen has been under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on suspicion of concealing his activities as Qatar's agent in 2017 without reporting it. Hiring as an agent of a foreign government is a serious offense.

Last week, the Associated Press reported on the contents of Allen's electronic media search warrant, which was filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington's Federal Court in April.

According to the order, which detailed the suspicions that had accumulated against him, General Allen joined the Qataris through the regime official in Washington named Imad Zubairi.

The latter is currently serving a 12-year prison sentence in federal prison for another corruption offense.

In recent decades, Qatar's relations with its Arab neighbors have crumbled due to the local regime's support for the Muslim Brotherhood and the alliance Qatar has with Iran.

In May 2017, President Donald Trump visited Riyadh and Jerusalem.

During his visit to Riyadh, Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosted a conference against "Islamic terrorism."

A few days after the visit, in June 2017, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt severed ties with Qatar and imposed a land and air siege on the hostile Emirates.

The four countries demanded that Qatar sever ties with the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran and close the jihadist al-Jazeera network as a condition for resuming relations and lifting the siege.

Information campaigns against Jews

Trump's first reaction to the move was supportive.

Although Israel was not a partner in the Sunni move, our interest in the success of the move was clear and unequivocal.

According to the search warrant, shortly afterwards Zubairi, while free, traveled with General Allen to Doha and met him with the Qatari ruler, Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, and with the defense and intelligence ministers.

Under the search warrant, during those meetings, Allen advised them on how to influence U.S. policy, such as "using the full spectrum" of information operations, including "black and white operations."

When he returned to Washington, Allen allegedly called his acquaintance, General R. McMaster, who then served as Trump's national security adviser. According to the search warrant, Allen persuaded McMaster to abandon the line supporting Sunni states in favor of a more neutral line. Of Doha.

Around the same time, al-Jazeera revealed that she had employed a secret agent who had infiltrated the pro-Israel Jewish community in Washington.

The same agent volunteered for Jewish organizations and secretly photographed their activities there.

Al-Jazeera announced that it was about to broadcast a mini-series called "The Lobby," which would expose the Jewish conspiracy that allegedly rules Washington.

At the same time, Qatar hired a Jew named Nick Musin as its agent.

Musin had close ties to the pro-Israel establishment in Washington, D.C., and his job was to bring Jewish community leaders closer to Doha.

In other words, the Qataris implemented the Allen strategy, which was reflected in "black and white" information campaigns against American Jews.

The Israeli part of the story is particularly embarrassing.

General Allen's name is known to Israelis because in the years 2014-2013 he served as the security adviser to the then Secretary of State, John Kerry, as part of the political process that the latter tried to initiate between Israel and the Palestinians.

Allen formulated a security plan, designed to persuade Israel to agree to relinquish sovereignty and later on a military presence in the Jordan Valley.

In order to persuade the public in Israel to support his withdrawal plan, Allen recruited senior IDF officers, led by Major General Gadi Shemani.

Although Allen's plan was completely rejected (then-Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said in disgust that "the American security plan presented to us is not worth the paper it was written on. It has no security and no peace"), but it seems that the warm ties he forged then with the political left. Saved.

The people of the Fifth Dimension Company claimed that through artificial intelligence their product is able to predict the future actions of the target.

Under the FBI's search warrant against Allen, company chiefs wanted him to mediate between them and Qatar

Make money and stupidity

In 2016, the Fifth Dimension Company, headed by Chairman Bnei Gantz, signed a $ 10,000-a-month contract with Allen and 1.5 percent of the value of any contract that would mediate for the company. The Jordan, however, unlike Ya'alon, did not reject their plan.

Some of the senior figures in the fifth dimension are currently under investigation by the Competition Authority, due to suspicions that they acted fraudulently in presenting the software to the Israel Police.

At the time, company executives claimed to have developed spyware, based on artificial intelligence (AI) that is infiltrated through the media of an intelligence target.

They argued that using AI their product is able to predict the future actions of the target.

Under the FBI's search warrant against Allen, Fifth Dimensional leaders wanted him to mediate between them and Qatar in order to sell their technology to the pro-Iranian and pro-Hamas regimes.

According to the search warrant, in November 2016, Alan sent an email to the Fifth Dimension stating that "the Qataris had asked me to recommend the product to the Qatari intelligence chief and defense minister," whom he met in June 2017. Alan believed his recommendation "would probably complete their decision making and bring "For Qatari approval to purchase the fifth-dimension product. Phase A of the project was valued at $ 72 million."

If the suspicions are true - how do you explain the conduct of the fifth dimension?

How could they dream of selling such advanced espionage technology to the No. 1 supporter of Hamas and Iran, and to those who acted fraudulently and intentionally against Diaspora Jewry?

Jewish-American correspondent Armin Rosin estimated this week in a "tablet" that the company may have acted in coordination with the defense establishment, in an attempt to reconcile Hamas through its landlord in Doha.

But this view is inconsistent with the clear and understandable pro-Sunni policy of the government at the time.

This leaves two other alternatives - follow money and stupidity.

While the fifth-dimensional criminal investigation is progressing lazily, and the media is ignoring, at best, the revelations, we will discover the solution through the developments in Allen's investigation.
