On Wednesday evening, 1500 guests created a party atmosphere at the start of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the KLJB St. Wolfgang.

Celebrations continue until Monday.

St. Wolfgang - The beat boomed over the entire town.

The whole of St. Wolfgang has noticed: there is something to celebrate.

The start of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the KLJB Sankt Wolfgang was a success.

The anniversary celebrations started on Wednesday with the “Disco tent reloaded” on the Volksfestplatz.

DJ Toolz and DJ Triple B played together for the first time ten years ago in the St. Wolfgang disco tent - now they were on stage together again and made the party guests dance.

And if the weather was mild, anyone who needed a break could enjoy pizza and burgers on the festival grounds.

Around 1,500 party-goers have space in the disco tent, and that's what was needed, because the rush was huge.

The members of the association were busy behind the numerous bars, "the queue at the entrance sometimes reached as far as the baker", reported Alexander Gilhuber from the festival committee enthusiastically about the number of visitors.

Mayor Ullrich Gaigl also stopped by and got an idea of the event.

“The members of the KLJB are strongly behind putting something like this on its feet.

There is a relaxed atmosphere, it's just great," he said proudly of his rural youth.

That was just the beginning.

There is a lot to do over the festival weekend, which ends on Monday with a kettle meat meal.

On yesterday's company day there was a watt tournament in the afternoon, today it's going to be Bavarian with the electro-pop-rock band "Lenze & de Buam".

After the family day on Saturday, the “Boazn Royal” wine festival will be played in the evening.

The festival Sunday starts at 7.30 a.m. with a white sausage breakfast, at 10 a.m. the service is celebrated with the blessing of the banner.

A parade will follow before lunch.

Then the band plays "The Soundscape".
