Chen Langsheng is running for the election as the deputy interview director of the online media "Channel C". He said that he hopes to continue to fight for the rights and interests of journalists, and hopes to communicate with the government on industry issues, including that there is currently no "news use" option for license plate search applications, and business registration search. When asked how he will handle the relationship with the government after taking office, Chen Langsheng said that the HKJA has always been open to communicate with anyone, but recently the HKJA has been criticized repeatedly for "communicating numbly" with the government in recent months. Reflecting that they were not allowed to cover the return celebration activities, the Journalists Association is actively communicating with the Information Services Department.
As for whether he is worried that the HKJA will be disbanded or banned, Chen Langsheng pointed out that, as stated in his platform, he hopes that the HKJA can continue to operate, and he frankly admits that the initiative does not lie with the HKJA.
