According to the documents of the Housing Department, the public housing site on Tin Wah Road is located in the south of Sha Kong Wai, just across the river from Tin Yan Village, covering an area of ​​about 2.93 hectares. "Zone and "Green Belt" were rezoned to "Residential (Group A)".

The authorities plan to develop five residential towers with 39 to 45 storeys at a plot ratio of 6.9 times, with a total capacity of 10,800 people.

The proposed public housing will be developed in two phases. The first phase is located at the junction of Tin Wah Road and Tin Ying Road, and will be built with two residential buildings, which are expected to provide 1,300 units. The second phase will be separated by Xinsha Jiangwei Road. The site is elongated and involves three residential towers that will provide 2,700 units.

The project will provide kindergartens, retail facilities, and social welfare facilities such as elderly, child care, family services, youth services and rehabilitation facilities.

According to the document, the Civil Engineering and Development Department is currently conducting investigation, research and design on site formation and infrastructure works.

Looking through the information, the Planning Department released the second phase of the brownfield site plan for public housing development last year. Among them, the Shajiang Wai North site, which occupies the largest area, is only a few hundred meters away from the current public housing development plan.
