There were severe traffic delays.
Putzbrunn
– In the evening traffic, a previous accident near Kirchheim had led to a massive backlog.
In slow traffic, the cause of the rear-end collision between Hohenbrunn and Haar was unclear in the direction of Nuremberg.
As reported by the police, a 55-year-old from the district of Schweinfurt was driving a truck and trailer in the right lane and crashed into a Polish trailer truck in a traffic jam, which a 51-year-old Ukrainian was driving.
The two truck drivers were slightly injured, but were able to get out of the driver's cab themselves.
Damage is 80,000 euros
The Hohenbrunn fire brigade looked after the injured with 17 staff until the arrival of the rescue service and emergency doctor and secured the traffic.
She also cleaned the road and ensured fire protection.
The injured drivers were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The Autobahn had to be completely closed for an hour - also because of a breakdown vehicle that was in the left lane.
Also on site were rescue service forces as well as the highway maintenance department and the Hohenbrunn highway police.
The damage is 80,000 euros.
