In the video: Shai grinds on one of the most dramatic episodes engraved in the history of the Jewish people (PR)
Parshas Shelach: The Parshas HaSherim that appears in our Parshas Hashavua - is one of the most dramatic Parshas engraved in the history of the Jewish people.
To this day we are affected by the act of the spies who slandered the Land of Israel.
Rabbi Shai Tahan, head of the Shaare Ezra Kollel and head of the Arazi Lebanon Teaching House, delves into the personalities of the spies who were on the one hand great tzaddiks and on the other hand acted in a negative way that as stated affects us all to this day.
According to Rabbi Tahan, the main problem of the spies was that they gave a simple interpretation of what was in their eyes and did not go deeper into understanding that behind the picture lies another reality that is all good.
In our lives, too, many situations seem problematic to us, but if we delve deeper into them we will understand that behind the scenes there is a world that is all good, and that God did everything just to make us better.
One should just replace the reflectors and see life in the right way.
Watch the full words of Rabbi Tahan.
