The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court today (Friday) extended for three days the detention of the kindergarten teacher and assistant from the kindergarten in Holon, who are suspected of abusing toddlers.

Outside the courtroom, some of the toddlers' parents gathered as they cried, stunned, and trying to pick up the pieces.

"I had a bad feeling," said Zohar Assulin, who revealed the affair.

"I'm a social worker, I noticed changes in my daughter - she slept less well, ate less well. I said I would put on a recording device just to relax. We heard shocking things, a day of terror. I complained to the police and they looked at the cameras. Since my life broke, my sky fell. "I have lost faith. We will be strong, I have a six-month-old baby alone, the two-year-old girl. You hear the evil in the recordings."

Zohar said that before that, the relationship with the kindergarten teacher was good.

According to her, the teacher has 40 years of experience in the field.

"It seemed difficult for her lately but it was inconceivable," the mother explained.

"The parents I talk to in shock did not believe this was the case. The teacher hugged and kissed me too. It was all a show, a lie - we worked on it for years."

On the other hand, parents also came to the hearing to support the suspects.

"Until I see it in my eyes I will not believe. On what basis is the complaint?" Said one of the mothers who has known the kindergarten teacher for 14 years.

Another parent said: "I know the teacher, my sister raised her childhood there. The mother who complained did injustice to the teacher and the assistant - there was no violence. Children sometimes rave, it should be prevented. She has never done it with violence."

Attorney Hagit Rahmani Weiss, representing the Public Defender's Assistant, said: "This is an experienced assistant who has never had any complaints about her work, and many parents have come to support her. She cooperates and provided a version of events. We hope the investigation will end soon."

The kindergarten teacher's lawyer, Lior Ezra, said: "The case is in its infancy, the investigation material was not presented to us, we will wait for the police to complete the investigation and we will respond."
