The government announced that to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Space Museum will open for free on July 1.
In addition, other museums under the LCSD, including the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and the Hong Kong Museum of History, are also organising a series of exhibitions, all of which are free to enter.
The permanent exhibition halls of the Hong Kong Space Museum (except for the Planetarium program) will be open to the public for free on July 1.

In addition to the above museums, Dr Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Tea Ware Museum, Hong Kong Railway Museum, Fireboat Grantham Exhibition Hall, Law Uk Folk Museum, Lee Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum, Hong Kong Film Archive, Sam Tung Uk Museum, Oil Street Realization and the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, a series of exhibitions are also being held, with free admission.
However, due to ongoing maintenance works, the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence and Shangyao Folklore Museum will remain closed.
The Science Museum will open for free on July 1.

The government reminds that visitors must scan the QR code of the "Safe Travel" venue before entering the museum, and all those entering the indoor venues managed by the LCSD must meet the relevant requirements for the implementation of the "Vaccine Pass".
