A 42-year-old resident of Haifa was shot last night (Friday) in Kiryat Ata and was taken to Rambam Hospital in critical condition. The initial report of the incident was received at 11:39 PM at MDA's 101 hotline in the Carmel area.

Itai Mazor, a senior paramedic riding an MDA motorcycle, said: "The wounded man was lying in the entrance plaza of the building, unconscious and suffering from a penetrating injury to his body.
We provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital while performing resuscitation operations, when his condition was critical. "
