A 3-month-old baby died Thursday after being forgotten in his parents' car "for several hours," according to police in Upper Saint Clair, a town outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The agents went to the couple's house at 5 in the afternoon and found the unconscious child, according to the Allegheny County Police Department, which includes the city of Pittsburg.

The maximum temperature in that area reached 92 degrees on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
