A 17-year-old girl filed a complaint with the police yesterday (Thursday) claiming that a police car had run over her and that a police officer had threatened her "'If you report - you will end up in jail'".

The accident happened about a month ago when the girl was riding a scooter driven by a friend of hers in Ramat Gan.

According to the complaint, the two were traveling on the road on Jabotinsky Street in Ramat Gan when at one point a police car traveling on the road had a poster for the scooter driver to stop for inspection, but he refused and continued driving.

"I asked him to stop but he refused," the girl said.

"When he did not stop, I demanded that he drop me off at the side of the road because I do not want to continue driving when a police car asks me to stop," she added.

At her request a friend stopped the scooter on the side on Kahneman Street in the city "I got off the scooter and he continued to drive".

Shortly afterwards, the girl claimed, the police car went out to chase the driver as she passed by, hitting her and knocking her down on the road.

"I fell and my blood flowed from my leg,

When an MDA team was called to the scene, a policeman from another mobile approached her and asked for identifying details, but she refused on the grounds that she was vague and in pain. He put his name on his uniform and said to me, "Say thank you that you are not in handcuffs. If you complain about me, we will make a mess of you in court, you will end up in prison."

She said, "At the time the policeman said this he looked scared on the one hand and aggressive on the other. Despite my complex physical condition it was clear to me that his whole purpose was to intimidate me and prevent me from complaining about his conduct. I thought the police were a body designed to protect me but in this incident It became clear to me that not only are the police not guarding me, but the exact opposite. "

Lawyer Israel Jerby, representing the girl, said: "The negligent conduct of the Israel Police in this case amounts to disgrace. It is not enough that the police abandoned a 17-year-old girl while she was lying on the ground, "We were a third world country. The Israel Police is committed to conducting a comprehensive investigation, at the end of which it must emit these odors from the ranks of the organization and use them to the fullest extent possible."
