The people of Oberschleißheim will feel it and, above all, hear it when the heads of state and government of the world's seven largest industrial countries meet at the G7 summit at Schloss Elmau at the end of June.

– As in 2015, the flight service of the Federal Police will again take over the police flight service at the G7 summit in Elmau in 2022 in addition to transporting delegations.
For this reason, there will be increased flight movements from around mid-June, also during the night, also in the Oberschleißheim area.
The Federal Police's air squadron is stationed there.

"Police flight operations undoubtedly involve a lot of stress," admits the press office of the federal police flying group.
And assured: "We will try to keep these burdens as low as possible, not only for the people, but also for flora and fauna in the area of operation."
