Differentiated traffic set up this Saturday in Île-de-France

Thus, the Prefecture of Police details that from 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, only vehicles with a Crit'Air sticker of class 0, 1 and 2 will be able to circulate in these areas.

The prefect therefore effectively prohibits the circulation of Crit'air 5 vehicles (already prohibited from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday in Paris), Crit'air 4 and Crit'air 3.

In addition, in Île-de-France, the maximum speed on portions of motorways will be reduced.

Those usually limited to 130km/h will be temporarily limited to 110km/h, those at 110km/h will be lowered to 90km/h.

Finally, roads usually limited to 80km/h and 90km/h will have a maximum speed of 70km/h.

More generally, motorists in the Paris region are called upon to reduce their speed by 10 km/h.

These speed limits will continue on Saturday in Ile-de-France, until the end of the pollution episode, while heavy goods vehicles will be asked to bypass the region.

To enable Ile-de-France residents to cope with these restrictions, Île-de-France Mobilités will also offer, again from Saturday and until the end of the pollution episode, an " anti-

pollution package

" allowing them to borrow almost -all public transport in the region for 3.80 euros.

Carpooling will also be free for all Ile-de-France residents without means testing, up to two journeys per day, for journeys of less than 30 km.
