The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Pfizer and Moderna's vaccines for Corona for the youngest population group: age six months to five (excluding).
This means that nearly 20 million children under the age of five will be able to receive the vaccines, thus effectively expanding Eligibility for vaccines for all sections of the population, which will probably make it easier for many parents and the education system.
The FDA decision came a few days after the panel of experts recommended approving the vaccines of the two companies.
Although the decision was given in the presence of an emergency vaccine, in practice it has no different meaning than full approval.
Before the special vaccine for children can be injected, it is still necessary for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the CDC, to approve the decision, but this is expected to happen in the coming days.
