Dialogue between nature and culture
With the help of the Cité du développement durable – an international center for research and cooperation on sustainable development – the association Les Nuits des Forêts has launched a call for projects aimed at researchers, wood professionals and also musical artists. , circus artists, committed theater companies.
For the organizers, “
artists have a role to play in the ecological transition because they create new stories and imaginations around forests
”.

Art and forest have been working hand in hand for a long time
”, specifies a partner of the event.
From 1853, the first artistic reserves were created in the forest of Fontainebleau, mobilizing several hectares for the creation of “
nature sanctuaries
”.
The founders of Nuits des Forêts are following in these footsteps to carry their ecological convictions.
The festival emphasizes culture but not just any culture.

neutral carbon footprint
” objective .
