"The Greek" in Farchet has reopened.
Since a lot broke in the fire three weeks ago, there is a car in the beer garden for the time being.
Wolfratshausen – Farchet, 12:24 p.m.: “We can do it again!” calls Iraklis Sakellariou, landlord of the “The Greek” restaurant, and leans out of the food truck.
The first gyros scent is already in the air.
The guests at the surrounding tables applaud warmly.

At the end of May, a fire in the roof truss virtually destroyed the inn's existence.
But giving up is out of the question.
Sakellariou organized a drinks and a kitchen trolley for the production of simple specialties, and he received approval for this just under a week ago.
"For the time being, we only offer four or five dishes here in the beer garden," says his wife Anna.
“Souvlaki, grilled calamari, bratwurst, scampi and gyros.
We try and learn.”
Tamara Ballenthin and her family are among the first guests.
Daughter Lisa (9) brought flowers - like many other guests who quickly fill the cozy beer garden.
"You are the best Greek" is written on an attached piece of paper.

"The Greek" in Wolfratshausen is an integral part of family life.
"We got married here in 2010," says the mother of two.
Every family celebration, whether it's a christening or a birthday, leads to a meal in the restaurant.
"I don't even need to ask where we're going anymore," she says and laughs.
"The answer is always the same: to our Greeks, where else?."
