In the midst of a heat wave, ten schoolchildren suffered sunstroke on Friday June 17 after playing in the courtyard of their establishment in Pin, Haute-Saône, we learned from the mayor of the town.

After lunch, around 1:00 p.m., children were playing on a multi-sports ground near the school.
Ten of them were hit by sunstroke, while the temperature was 35 degrees
,” said Patrick Combeau, who went there.
The schoolchildren, aged 10 and 11, complained of headaches and vomiting.
The firefighters were quickly called and the children were medicalized on the spot, their condition not requiring an evacuation to the hospital according to this same source.
The primary school, located in a town of some 700 inhabitants, brings together children from several surrounding villages.
