International football referee Shadi Al-Shahf is participating in the West Asian Football Federation Championship for the junior category in its ninth edition, which will be hosted by Jordan on the 21st of this month.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Al-Shahf pointed out the importance of this first foreign participation for him after obtaining the international badge, as it is a great responsibility for him to represent the Syrian arbitration in this tournament, which is classified within the AFC championships.
Al-Shahf, who rules in the first group that witnesses the participation of the teams of Jordan, Iraq, Yemen and Oman, wished success for the Syrian team, which plays in the second group along with the teams of Lebanon, Palestine and Kuwait.
It is noteworthy that Al-Shahf is a graduate of English literature from Damascus University and began arbitration about 13 years ago, and his launch was from the Shahba Club in As-Suwayda, and he received the international badge more than a year ago.
