Jessica Alba's strange pointillist tutorial to obtain a "natural" effect make-up

"I was fed up with thick makeup, so I started using this technique and since then, I've been obsessed with it," reveals Jessica Alba in a new video posted on her Instagram account.

The actress would have tested a makeup tutorial from American beauty influencer Chloé Morello, which would have revolutionized her routine.

"I know I look crazy," she wrote in the caption of her post, however, asking her subscribers to please believe in this "high-level makeup trick".

According to her, it is a "quick and easy" method that would ensure a "natural, fresh and dewy" complexion.

In this video, Jessica Alba appears facing the camera, her face riddled with multicolored dots.

“Apply all your cream-textured products at once, like this,” she instructs, mentioning concealer, blush, bronzer and contour product. “The key is to use a fixing spray on top.

It will prevent the material from drying out, so you can blend it out.

It also infuses makeup,” she says, spraying the treatment on her skin, and doing a subtle advertisement for a reference from her cosmetics brand, Honest Beauty.

Fewer coats for a “more natural” result

Then, Jessica Alba blends all the colors one after the other with a large face brush, going from the lightest shade to the darkest.

"It's very easy because it's well humidified thanks to the mist," she notes.

The advantage of this method?

"It's that instead of applying foundation all over your face, you only have one layer of makeup, even though there are five products in all," the star explains to her 19 million subscribers on the social network, specifying that her "typical routine would involve having five different layers of makeup", but that this way her look "looks more natural."

Finally, she finishes by spraying a little more mist one last time on her face fully reflecting the light, thus ensuring that the result lasts “all night”.
