This is the watchword of these legislative elections - at least that launched by the majority: we should fight against the extremes.
The formula is however very vague, especially since it is written in the plural and immediately raises some "strategic" questions: should we treat the extremes in the same way, put them on the same footing, or should we nevertheless distrust one more than the other?
These questions have crossed the presidential election, but they have arisen with new vigor since several tens of thousands of voters are faced with a choice in the second round of the legislative elections between a candidate from the Nupes and another from the National Rally.
Between two evils, should we abstain or choose the lesser?
