Oktoberfest 2022: Where are there still free Oktoberfest tables?

Nevertheless, there are still ways to get a coveted table at the Oktoberfest.

The Oktoberfest countdown is on: In exactly three months, millions will flock to the Theresienwiese, toast each other, taste Bavarian delicacies - and enjoy life.
Munich - Oktoberfest 2022 - after a two-year Corona break, the Wiesn will take place again!
And there is an enormous rush to the Oktoberfest tables - so many go away empty-handed.
Like Jürgen Neumann (66).
Since the end of the 1980s, the entrepreneur has been to the Bräurosl with his business customers every year.
But this year he will probably not get a table.
Because it was not clear whether the Oktoberfest would take place, Neumann waited a little longer than usual to make a reservation this year - and when he checked in April, all the tables were already taken.
Oktoberfest 2022: Many tents are already full
"For data protection reasons, we have not taken over any master data," explains Peter Reichert, the new host of the Bräurosl.
But he tried to be considerate of regular guests.

asked all the innkeepers what the situation was with free spaces in the larger tents.
Here is the overview (as of June 16, 2022).
Armbrustschützen-Festzelt
: Tables that are still free can be booked directly on the tent's website (
www.armbrustschuetzenzelt.de
).
"Lunch reservations are definitely still possible, although the demand is a little higher than usual this year," says landlord Peter Inselkammer.
Marquee tradition
: "We still have a limited number of places available, mostly at lunchtime, of course," says landlord Toni Winklhofer.

Otherwise, Munich residents can still get places in the Ratskeller via the Munich contingent on August 4th – including in the evenings and at weekends.
Fischer-Vroni
: "There are always free places, since cancellations are immediately released again in the portal," says the Fischer-Vroni team.

Especially at noon and during the week there is still something free.
Augustiner Festhalle
: The website of the Augustiner tent states that "due to the high volume of inquiries, our contingents are already exhausted".

Hofbräu-Festzelt
: "Thank God the reservation situation is the same as in 2019", reports landlady Silja Schrank-Steinberg with relief.
Remaining places are still available at noon from Monday to Thursday, bookable at

Käfer Wiesn-Schänke
: "The anticipation is obviously huge and so is the demand," says a spokeswoman.
The Käfer Wiesn-Schänke is fully booked every day.
A spot can be found on site in the beer garden.
Kufflers Weinzelt
: In the Weinzelt there is still some free time from Monday to Thursday at noon and in the afternoon/early evening.
The tables can be reserved online at

Hacker-Festzelt
: The website of the Hacker-Festzelt states that the reservation requests are currently being processed.
What is still free after that should be bookable online at

Löwenbräu-Festzelt
: "Fortunately, there were very few cancellations from our regular guests," says landlady Steffi Spendler.
In the evening everything is gone.
At lunchtime from Monday to Thursday there is still space both in the nave and in the boxes.

: In the reservation portal of the Marstall tent, lunch menus are still available from Monday to Friday.

Wiesn 2022: Ochsenbraterei and Paulaner Festzelt probably still have evening tables free
Oktoberfest Munich: There is always a seat available in the Ochsenbraterei, even if the photo from 2019 already looks pretty full at midday.

Ochsenbraterei
: "The tent is already very well booked, but as always there are still places", says landlady Antje Haber.
Both lunch and dinner are still free.

: According to the Paulaner tent reservation portal, there are still free tables for lunch from Monday to Friday and Sunday, as well as in the evening from Monday to Thursday.

: The evening tables in the new Bräurosl are all gone.
In general, demand is high, according to landlord Peter Reichert.

Schottenhamel-Festhalle
: “Demand is high.
We still have some available at lunchtime, otherwise we're fully booked," says landlord Konstantin Schottenhamel.

: The Schützen-Tent is currently reserved, as the reservation management reports.

: The Herzkasperl tent is reserved for the first day of Oktoberfest, September 17th.
Lunch reservations are still available on the other days.
