Police have opened an investigation:
A 33-year-old man was stabbed on Battalion Burglars Street in Ashkelon, evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in critical condition - where he was pronounced dead.
Police are conducting extensive searches and investigative actions to locate the murder suspect.
MDA paramedic Eitan Lasri and senior MDA medic Yishai Levy said: "The wounded man was lying on a path between residential buildings while unconscious and suffering from a penetrating and bleeding injury to his body. There was a big commotion. We put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital while resuscitation operations continued. "
