A one-and-a-half-year-old baby from a juniper scattering was killed today (Friday) in the Negev.

Medical teams identified tire marks on his head, however, they said, the baby's family claimed he had fallen from a height.

Police have opened an investigation following the incident.



The baby was brought in a private vehicle to the MDA hotline at the entrance to Arad, while he was unconscious, and after initial medical treatment was rushed by staff to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva. Amiram Mualem.

"During the evacuation to the hospital, we provided him with medical treatment that included stopping bleeding and performed resuscitation operations on him."

The baby was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

After the death was determined, the police began investigating the circumstances of his death.

Despite the tire marks on the baby's head, which indicate he may have been run over, his family claimed he was brought for treatment after falling from a height.
