Documentation of the encounter with Jenin (Quds Network)

The Golani patrol went out tonight (Thursday) to locate weapons in two different buildings in the city of Jenin, following suspicion that weapons were hidden there.

During the operation, around the first structure, a violent disturbance began to develop around the forces which included throwing stones, irons, explosives and gunfire.

"The force identified the suspect vehicle approaching the first structure," a military source said.

According to the military source, the suspects opened fire on the fighters from inside the vehicle.

"The soldiers got out of the vehicle, stormed the car from which the fire started, shot and killed three terrorists and wounded one more person," he added.

"They tried to escape and were unsuccessful because the force acted quickly. In those seconds there was further firing on the force from several other places. Not all of them were identified by the force, but to those he identified he responded with live fire."

During the encounter, the fighters opened the doors of the vehicle from which the shooting took place and found three rifles, two M16 and one Carlo.

The investigation later revealed that ricochets from the bullets hit by the terrorists on the ground flew at the fighters, and they miraculously survived the damage.

On the other hand, the protected vehicles were damaged.

The military source added that "they acted exactly as expected of them - while firing on them from several directions they conducted themselves calmly. They were very brave to attack the terrorists from a very short range and shoot at them with zero accuracy with great precision. "Without the quick and accurate response of the fighters. We are still checking to see if the firing from several directions towards the force was timed. They got out of the situation very quickly and did not continue to the second target because it was clear that after killing the terrorists very violent riots would begin."

Meanwhile, a security source addressed the political tension in Judea and Samaria ahead of the visit to Biden.

"So far the only directive that has come down from above has been about the demolition of the terrorist's house in Jenin. They explained that the prime minister thinks it could create tension ahead of the US president's visit to Israel and Bethlehem," he said.

"Other than that we are working against ticking bombs and on the basis of available intelligence. Very soon we are going to destroy another terrorist house and it is not clear if the prime minister will approve. It is not clear if Jenin is sensitive or all of Judea and Samaria. We will know soon. In general these decisions are not made. "In a good spirit on the ground and it could damage a lawn mower against terrorism."
