The keys to the design and in general they were entrusted to the designer Roi Levy with one clear instruction: design a house with a wow effect, that everyone who visits it will remain open-mouthed.

Did he succeed?

Interior designer:

Roi Levy

Already at the entrance to the courtyard of the private house in Ness Ziona, 300 sq.m. Floors, you can see the thought invested in the house in front of us. Even before we enter the house itself, the investment and attention to detail is felt from all sides. The planning and design is the responsibility of designer Roy Levy who hosts us for a tour of the house. "

"They wanted a modern, clean and beautiful house and said they wanted to create a wow effect for everyone who came to the house and I took that in my directions and ideas."

At the entrance to the house, they realize that the designer took his customers' request seriously, when a powerful and unique wall of power is revealed in front of us, which stretches along the entire length of the house.

"I wanted to create a dominant and prominent wall that would accompany the entire house from the entrance, through the living room, the stair wall to the entrance to the master suite on the first floor," Levy explains.

"I put a lot of thought into it because I wanted to create an interesting wall that would leave anyone who enters the house with an open mouth. The wall is 15 meters long and 6 meters high. We used porcelain tiles cut in a certain layout and different sizes at our request. I combined lighting profiles, dark mirrors or tiles with a grooved texture, which create interest with an irreversible depth. "

Precise tiles were laid on the floor, extra large in size and with a bright and clean appearance, with a minimum of connections (Photo: Elad Gonen)

"In the public space, I used large, compact tiles with 3x3.2 m porcelain granite pallets to create a uniform look with a minimum of connections. Tiles in this style are mainly designed for large spaces and produce a clean and beautiful look. "And I was able to create a sense of space in space," he explains.

"In addition, I incorporated many carefully designed lighting elements - in the ceiling I combined technical stripes alongside a combination of air conditioning items in a special profile similar to the lighting profile.

The kitchen is built of two main strips - a wall with tall cabinets and a large island, where everything is integral and hidden.

"The kitchen is very active because it is a family that loves to cook, so it was important to me to produce a functional and comfortable kitchen," Levy reveals.

"I designed it in a modern and clean style and took into account the needs of the family. The kitchen connects to the hallway wall on which I continued the kitchen cladding, using a similar material and color scheme. The parents are hidden doors in a zero line that look like part of the cladding, not a routine look. "

The lower floor is completed by the master suite.

"For the unit, as in the other rooms in the house, I used parquet that creates warmth in the space," shares the designer.

"The bathroom in the unit is covered with tiles that resemble marble, when here too I used large tiles without many connections. The display case that separates the bathroom from the bedroom creates the look of a hotel. And there is also a closet in the room."

The courtyard that surrounds the house is very large and inviting.

It features a large swimming pool and a large outdoor kitchen with a seating area.

The kitchen is decorated with light marble, which breaks the other colors in the courtyard, and behind the pool is a wall 12 m wide, which is actually a wall that separates the courtyard from the main road.

This wall was created by the designer from a concrete casting with a three-dimensional texture, which simulates stone.

On the wall hangs a TV that upgrades the hospitality experience in the yard and allows you to watch it even from the pool itself.

There is no shortage of elements that produce the wow effect.

To complete the wow effect, not lacking elements that produce it in this house, half the ground floor enjoys a double space with a 6 meter high ceiling while the other half, above the kitchen, master suite and bedroom, is built and above it are the children's rooms upstairs.

Between the three floors of the house connects a hanging staircase behind which is the power wall that is reflected to every area in the house, including the top floor.

"The staircase hovers and to the railing we used steel cables designed as a string railing. We stretched the cables from floor to ceiling, which gives us a very minimalist and beautiful look - and also a safety solution," Levy explains.
