The eleventh book entitled “Rehragout-Rendezvous” was published in autumn 2021.
It seems that the Lower Bavarian village policeman Franz Eberhofer will not be solving any more cases in the near future.

As the writer told the

"In the meantime I've gone through all the motives, used all the murder weapons," said the 58-year-old.

With the stories about the village policeman Eberhofer, the author not only enchanted readers, but also people in front of the cinema screen.
With "Kaiserschmarrndrama" another film with Eberhofer actor Sebastian Bezzel was filmed in 2021.
"We are writing film history," said the author in an interview at the time.
In the meantime, seven of Falk's Eberhofer thrillers have also been made into films, and the eighth is due to hit the cinemas at the beginning of August.
