Wheat marketing in Al-Hasakah continues and expectations are to rise in light of the facilities provided

Marketing operations of the wheat crop in al-Hasakah governorate continue to the marketing centers approved by the sub-committee amid expectations of an increase in quantities after agreeing to consider all the governorate’s lands as an unsafe area for the farmer to benefit from the incentive bonus and the unification of purchasing a kilogram at a price of 2,100 Syrian pounds.

And the director of the branch of the Syrian Foundation for Grain Trade in Al-Hasakah, Abdullah Abdullah, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the decision of the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection to consider the whole governorate as unsafe areas and unifying the price in it will reflect positively on the reality of wheat marketing to the receiving centers, indicating that the total marketed quantity to date has reached Livestock, Tawarij and Jarjem centers amounted to 3,840 tons.

In a similar statement, the head of the Al-Hasakah Governorate Peasants' Union, Abdul Hamid Al-Karko, confirmed that the decision of the Ministry of Internal Trade was a distinctly agricultural demand, expecting the marketing pace to increase during the next few days.

Al-Karko pointed out that this decision reflects the government’s interest in the reality of Al-Hasakah governorate and its keenness to buy every grain of wheat produced in the governorate, which suffers mainly from the presence of the “Qasd” militia supported by the American occupation forces and its attempts to obstruct farmers and prevent them from reaching the approved centers for marketing by seizing roads. and intersections leading to the centers.

In turn, the director of the branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Al-Hasakah, Ezzo Al-Hamid, confirmed the continuation of the bank’s branches in the governorate to disburse the value of the marketed wheat bills to the branch of the Syrian Grain Corporation in light of the availability of financial liquidity, as the value spent to date amounted to 4 billion pounds for producers and farmers within the framework of the work of the branches of the Agricultural Bank in Tel Hamis Qamishli, Yarmouk and al-Hol.

Al-Hamid pointed out that the Grain Corporation transferred, the day before yesterday, an amount of two billion pounds to the account of the branches of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in the governorate to ensure that the exchange of bills values ​​is not delayed and delivered to the producers directly.
