A rigorous care routine
To achieve this result, Vasilios Tanis first prepared Jennifer Connelly's skin beforehand with facial treatments.
To start, he placed patches under the actress' eyes for a few minutes to deflate and hydrate this sensitive area.

Then, the expert equipped himself with facial massage accessories: “I took one in each hand and made movements in unison, sliding under the eye, the cheekbones and the chin, décolleté, neck and forehead.
It's like a mini-massage, but it also stimulates your circulation and lymphatic drainage,” he explains.
Last step before moving on to makeup, Vasilios Tanis applied an illuminating and revitalizing cream to Jennifer Connelly's skin.

A tanned complexion without self-tanning
Contrary to what the ultra-tanned skin of her on-screen character suggests, Jennifer Connelly did not wear self-tanner.
Vasilios Tanis preferred to opt for full body makeup, mixing several products together to achieve a “naturally sun-kissed” look.
The pro trick to perfect this radiant mine?
Using cream bronzer and powder blush “on various parts of her body, not just her face,” reveals the make-up artist.
To complete the radiant look, he made Jennifer Connelly's eyes sparkle with swipes of nude eyeshadow and gold eyeliner.
“You can let a little material skim the lashes and just give them a nice little reflective glow without being too shiny,” he adds.
As for the lips, a simple pink balm raised the natural color of her mouth while adorning them with a light luminous veil.
