As-Suwayda-Sana
In appreciation of their sacrifices in defending the homeland, the Martyr Foundation - As-Suwayda Branch organized this evening a mass wedding ceremony for a number of wounded Syrian Arab Army and auxiliary forces, at the tourist hotel in the city of As-Suwayda.
The director of the Martyr Foundation branch in As-Suwayda, Ghada Tali’a, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the mass wedding ceremony is a tribute to the heroes of the army and the allied forces, and in appreciation of their sacrifices and what they offered to keep the homeland dear and proud, pointing out that the wedding ceremony is the first held by the Foundation and will be an annual tradition.
Taliah pointed out the importance of this initiative, which was carried out in cooperation with the local community, in providing support to these heroes under difficult circumstances and easing the burden of marriage costs on them.
In turn, the grooms, Sami, Samer, Yasar Al-Jabai, and Raafat Al-Qassem expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which reflects the extent of concern for the wounded and the continuous quest to help them and stand by them to follow their life path.
