Bad Wiessee supports the renovation of the play and sports arena

Bad Wiessee – The play and sports arena in Bad Wiessee is currently being given a makeover.

The municipality supports the tenant – also with an appeal for donations.

The campaign "Beautification of the play and sports arena" - initiated by operator Sepp Niedermayer - is a little slow.

Some volunteers have already agreed to work, as the municipality of Bad Wiessee reports.

Most of them - who are craftsmen - recently met in the play arena to talk about the procedure, material requirements and procurement of tools for lifting platforms or scaffolding.

"We plan to provide the north side with new boards where necessary and to fill in the insulation underneath," explains the operator of the arena.

"Then the unsightly wooden cladding is fitted with a functional and attractive cladding made of profiled sheet metal." The south side, which still has a healthy wooden substance, is given a dark coat of paint.

On the east side, which consists largely of discolored light panels, these are to be replaced for the most part and the wooden cladding on top is to be repainted.

Donations are possible via the special account Josef Niedermayer at the Raiffeisenbank Gmund, purpose: renovation of the outer skin of the game arena, IBAN: DE83701693830100951676.

How the materials are to be financed is currently not really clear.

On the initiative of the members of the CSU parliamentary group in the municipal council, the municipality of Bad Wiessee is now also providing financial support for the upcoming work in order to help improve the dilapidated outer shell and thus the townscape and bathing district.

In addition, the municipality offers the help of the building yard with man and equipment, explains the administration.

This is a good example to inspire many more supporters for this campaign.

Large and small monetary donations, advice and action from experts in the field of roofing, the provision of a lifting platform and another scaffolding so that work can be carried out on several sides at the same time are very welcome and urgently needed.

Sepp Niedermayer's goal is to complete the planned measures as a team effort by the end of August, despite rising material costs and long delivery times.
