The four young men were walking back to their garrison around 5 a.m. this Saturday when a car passed them and stopped "

One of the passengers then got out of the vehicle and fired three times in their direction with a handgun before restarting, according to the daily

Deployed in Besançon since the beginning of the week as part of Operation Sentinel, the four soldiers, aged around twenty, had taken advantage of a leave to spend an evening at a discotheque.
