The shooting scene in Kiryat Ata, June 18, 2022 (Yoav Itiel)
A weekend saturated with severe violence during which seven people were murdered in the north, center and south, with murdered from Arab and Jewish society.
The background to the cases, which occurred in Ramat Gan, Kiryat Ata, Ashkelon, Kafr Qara, Nahaf and Kiryat Tivon, is rivalries between criminals, revenge actions and family conflicts.
This morning, a 60-year-old man was shot dead in an apartment building on Hari HaGilad Street in Ramat Gan.
A shooting suspect was arrested on the spot.
The background to the case is most likely a divorce dispute between the children of the victim and the suspect.
Last night, Friday night, six people were murdered within hours.
Jamal Permanet, 37, was shot dead near Kafr Qara.
MDA staff who were called to the scene located him lifeless, with gunshot wounds to all parts of his body. Residents of the village said the victim was a resident of the Bedouin diaspora, who had recently moved to Kafr Qara, where he rented.
About two hours later, a 25-year-old man, Ziad Ayub, was shot dead in the village of Nahaf.
His death was determined at the scene and the police located a burned vehicle near the scene.
A 42-year-old man, identified as Gili Mizrahi, a criminal known to the police and a resident of Kiryat Haim, was shot dead in Kiryat Ata.
Apparently, Mizrahi came to a family event with relatives living on Hefetz Haim Street, parked his heavy motorcycle on the column floor and then was shot at the entrance to the building.
Neighbors said seven shots were fired.
"A friend of mine who lives near just talked to me on the phone and told me 'we're blown up' and then it turned out these were shots."
Said one of the neighbors.
This is a peaceful residential neighborhood, close to the city center.
The assassins were seen fleeing on a motorcycle passing at a red light near the nearby Sonol station and continuing on its way east.
Others said another motorcycle was involved in the assassination.
Another case took place in Ashkelon, where a 24-year-old man was killed on Friday evening. Before that, a double murder had taken place in the Kiryat Tivon area.
The two, cousins, 21-year-old Mahmoud who worked in construction and renovations, and 14-year-old Ali, a tenth-grade student from Nazareth, were found lifeless in the car that Mahmoud was driving near Kiryat Tivon.
It is not inconceivable that the target of the assassination was someone who was not in the vehicle at all.

The two fathers whom the police summoned to the scene to identify the bodies burst into tears after seeing them in the Suzuki vehicle, Mahmoud at the wheel, Ali next to him in the passenger seat.
The police suspect that the incident is against the background of a long-running criminal conflict in which a criminal organization is also involved, and it is possible that against this background the investigation will be conducted in the Central District of the Coastal District or in the National Lahav 433. Shots were fired at a 48-year-old renovation contractor.
