Today (18th) at about 2 pm, a 39-year-old man had an altercation with a 72-year-old female neighbor in a building unit at No. 54 Ho Pui Street, Tsuen Wan, and then used force. The old woman fled to the ginseng and seafood shop downstairs. He was chased and attacked with a stool and a fruit knife. Many passers-by stopped and called the police.
The old woman had cuts on her head, neck and upper body, and was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Police intercepted the man involved and found that he was holding a pair of scissors, and arrested him for wounding and possession of offensive weapons.
He reported neck pain and discomfort and was taken to hospital.
It is reported that the two are residents of subdivided housing at the above site, and they are suspected of arguing over noise issues.
