In the video: The Chief Rabbi of Israel v. Ben Gvir - Ahbel, agitating the winds (Walla system!)
The Chief Rabbi of Israel, Yitzhak Yosef, this evening (Saturday) attacked MK Itamar Ben Gvir in his weekly lesson, following his ascent to the Temple Mount.
The rabbi said that Ben Gvir "agitates the spirits, and violates the prohibition of all the great men of Israel."
Rabbi Yosef takes a halakhic position according to which it is strictly forbidden to ascend the Temple Mount and in his lesson he said that "one should stay away from him and all his leaderships, what are these leaderships?".
Rabbi Yosef called Ben Gvir "Ahbal" and added that he causes blasphemy because he goes up "against all the great men of Israel, he will tell you 'I also have a rabbi'. Pay attention, think for a moment, Ahbal."
"Love".

Rabbi Yosef's remarks were made against the background of fears in the ultra - Orthodox parties of fleeing young votes for Ben Gvir's party in the upcoming elections.
Due to his status as chief rabbi, Rabbi Yosef is not allowed to interfere in political matters, but the attack on halakhic matters is intended, among other things, to influence Shas voters who are considering or decided to vote for Ben Gvir in the next election
. To reach the holiest place for the Jewish people, on the contrary, we will only be strengthened and reach the realization of the sovereignty of the State of Israel in Jerusalem, "Ben Gvir said.
