Customs seized seven kilos of protected coral

These corals, which travelers are forbidden to bring with them on vacation, are strictly protected.

Customs at the airport seized a total of seven kilograms of protected coral in the luggage of travelers from Thailand and Curaçao. 

Airport - some very large pieces of up to 15 by 15 centimeters were in the luggage.

One of these suitcases even contained almost five kilograms of the protected coral.

Due to the lack of required species protection documents, all the goods were confiscated by Munich customs and the owners were reported.

Customs spokesman Thomas Meister advises: "It's better to collect impressions instead of souvenirs."
