Another tragedy in the north:
A 71-year-old man drowned today (Saturday) in the waters of the Jordan River after being swept away and injured in the head.
At 12:05, a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Jordan area, about a man who was swept away and injured in the head while entering the mountainous Jordanian water, near the Kfar Hanassi bridge. Who were launched rescued him with a helicopter to the MDA team who were waiting nearby and evacuated him lifeless no other than his death was determined in the field.

"Determined on the spot, the helicopter rescued him lifeless and we evacuated his body to Ziv Hospital."
At the same time, fire and rescue crews from the Galil Golan station worked to rescue a 70-year-old woman who fell into the water in the area of the Banias River.
Earlier, the death of a boy who drowned in the Jordan River two days ago and was hospitalized at Ziv Hospital was determined.
