When do the polls open and until what time is the deadline to vote in the Colombian elections?
From 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (local time), voters both at home and abroad will be able to choose from several different alliances, each consisting of one candidate for president and one for vice president.
Colombians abroad can go to consulates, embassies and authorized points to cast their vote according to the Colombian Registry.
Once the election day is over, the voting jurors begin counting the votes cast by Colombians and the table count begins.
At 4:00 pm until 12:00 am (local time), the table counting process begins, which is in charge of the voting juries and they are the ones who will count, verify, classify and consolidate the votes.
If the counting process does not end on election day, it will continue at 9:00 am (local time) the following day and will continue until 9:00 pm (local time), and so on until it ends.

ELECTIONS IN COLOMBIA
The results of the vote are declared on an E-14 form with which the pre-count begins.
The National Registry of Civil Status issues pre-count bulletins on the same day of the elections in order to provide information on the progress of election day.
However, the bulletins have an informational value only and not a legal one.
The results of the pre-count or quick count will be announced on our CNNE website and can also be consulted on the Registrar's website.
The official results will be announced once the counting process is complete.
