Serious warning about a terrorist attack in Turkey:
Defense Minister Bnei Gantz today (Saturday) called on Israelis staying in Turkey "to obey the instructions of the security forces."
Ganz added that "Israel is working to thwart Iranian attempts to carry out an attack, and is preparing to respond forcefully to any harm to Israeli citizens - anywhere."
According to security sources, there are some unidentified Iranian terrorist squads that are trying to "hunt Israelis" through social networks or identify them at major tourist sites in Turkey, for the purpose of a kidnapping or shooting attack.
As mentioned, Israel estimated that Iran would try to harm Israelis in Turkey over the weekend.
This assessment came up in a discussion held on Friday with the participation of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Mossad chief David Barnea and other senior members of the defense establishment.
