What do I need and how to vote in the elections?

The only valid document to exercise your vote in the elections is the yellow citizenship card with holograms.

This applies both to voting in Colombia and abroad.

The Registrar's Office explains that voting with a password or any other document is not allowed.

For this second round of the presidential elections you will receive a single card with three boxes.

Two of them are for the formulas of president and vice president, and one more for the blank vote.

The card is half letter size and there you will see the formulas of Rodolfo Hernández-Marelen Castillo and Gustavo Petro-Francia Márquez and their corresponding logos.

The option to mark a blank vote was kept on the ballot, but it has no effect on the result, according to the registrar Alexander Vega Rocha.

To vote, mark with an X the box that has the formula of your choice and place the ballot in the ballot box indicated by the voting jurors at your table.
