Earlier this week, a 240-meter-long glass bridge with a suspended "diamond-shaped" bar was inaugurated in the Dashbashi canyon, located about two hours' drive from the capital Tbilisi in southern Georgia. .
Built by the investment group Kass Group, which operates in Israel and Georgia, the enormous transparent structure, which rises up to 280 meters, extends through the natural monument, offering panoramic views of its impressive waterfalls and caves.
Its construction, made of steel and glass, took about three years.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili attended its official opening on June 14.

The most prominent feature of the bridge is undoubtedly its multi-tiered bar, situated at the highest point of what is said to be the largest and tallest suspension structure in the world.
Apparently, the venue has applied to be evaluated by Guinness World Records.
The project, which is estimated to have cost approximately US$40 million, also includes a zip line where visitors can cycle through the canyon and a "swing" on the cliff, while a series of of nearby guest suites.

Tomer Mor Yosef of the Kass Group previously revealed that he was inspired by the cannon itself for the shape of the bar.
"The goal was to create an extreme, exciting and unforgettable moment that would awaken all five senses of guests and make a lasting impression on their memory," he told the Georgian Journal last year.

Authorities hope the spectacular bridge will attract more tourists to the site, considered one of Georgia's most impressive natural landmarks.

This project comes after the inauguration last April of the longest glass-bottom bridge in the world, suspended 150 meters from the ground and with a length of 632 meters, located in the rural region of the province of Son La, in the Northwest Vietnam.
Georgia's glass bridge opened in the same week the country lifted all Covid-19 entry requirements for international visitors, reverting to its pre-pandemic border policy.
The news was announced by the Georgian Foreign Ministry on June 15.
