The electoral card for the second round of the Colombian elections, which will be held on June 19, has three boxes, two for the formulas made up of Rodolfo Hernández-Marelen Castillo and Gustavo Petro-Francia Márquez respectively , and one for the blank vote.

The card, with a half letter size sheet, has clearly identified the formulas of the League of Anti-Corruption Governors and the Historical Pact with the photos and names of the candidates, as well as the logos of the groups.

One of the usual queries in this case is how the order is determined.

The Registrar's Office explained that, based on current legislation, for the second round the formulas are understood to be "drawn in the same order and with the same number as the first."

On the first round card, the formula led by Hernández was in first place and that of Petro in sixth.

The option to mark a blank vote was kept on the ballot, but it has no effect on the result, according to the registrar Alexander Vega Rocha.

How to correctly mark the ballot for the elections in Colombia?

To vote, simply mark the box with the formula of your choice with an X.

The vote is valid, according to the Registrar's Office, if you mark with the X or another symbol on the box of the formula or of one of the members, as can be seen in the image below on the left.
