The Hollywood star would like to toast his special milestone with an illustrious group of guests.
Prince William is also said to have received an invitation.

On July 3rd, the acting great, who has been successful in show business for decades, celebrates her 60th birthday.
Cruise would like to ring in the new year of his life with two gigantic parties, as the "Sun" reports.
Two superlative celebrations are planned, one in Great Britain and one in the USA.
The first party is set to take place at the popular Soho Farmhouse in the scenic Cotswolds region of South West England.
There are said to be some well-known names on the guest list, in addition to ex-soccer star David Beckham (47) and moderator James Corden (43), Prince William is said to have been invited.

A few months ago, William and Kate joined Tom Cruise on the red carpet at the "Top Gun: Maverick" premiere, and the two men are said to be getting along really well.
"He [Tom] also has such a good relationship with Prince William at the moment that it's possible he'll come along too.
He'll be invited - but that's more dependent on royal commitments," an insider confided to The Sun.
The Duke of Cambridge can celebrate his milestone birthday before Tom Cruise.
On June 21, Prince William will be 40 years old.
Preparations for the party are said to have been in full swing since spring, but William's brother Harry (37) is said to be undesirable at the birthday party.
