The Eldorado Weather website, which specializes in monitoring temperatures, said that the Sultanate of Oman recorded today the two highest temperatures in the world for this season.
According to the website, the temperature in the Omani city of Al-Fuhud reached 49 degrees Celsius, which is the highest temperature recorded so far for this season, followed by the Omani Qarn Al Alam area with 48.8 degrees Celsius.
The site added that several regions, including Arab cities, recorded very high temperatures, as the Iranian city of Safiabad also recorded 48.8 degrees Celsius, Basra in Iraq 48.5 degrees Celsius, and Bahla in the Sultanate of Oman recorded 48 degrees Celsius.
