The director of the Russian company, New Space, Anton Alexeyev, announced the completion of the development of a new generation of satellites intended for remote sensing of the Earth.
And the RT channel quoted Alexeyev as saying during the Petersburg Economic Forum: Our company has completed the design of a model for a new satellite dedicated to sensing the Earth from a distance. Over the past six months, it has been able to develop plans for those satellites and we have already made a prototype for it, indicating that the new satellite will work. In Earth's orbits between 5 to 7 years at least.
The company recently announced that it is developing a satellite model that will be the first of a new group of Russian satellites that will be dedicated to monitoring weather conditions around the clock in the Arctic regions and the Northern Sea Route.
