The automated bakery in Salhab in the Hama countryside has returned to work and production after repairing the machines damaged by the fire that engulfed it late last month, with a production capacity of about 12 tons per day.

The director of the Syrian branch of bakeries in Hama, Haitham Ismail, referred to the efforts made by the workshops, in cooperation with the workers and the local community, to repair the production lines that were damaged by the fire as soon as possible, explaining that the maintenance process took about 3 weeks, after which the bakery resumed its work.

Ismail indicated that the machines were replaced in coordination and work with the economic unit located in Damascus, which provided the bakery with all the production requirements it needed to be able to take off again.

For his part, the director of Salhab Automatic Bakery, Mustafa Mihoub, pointed out in a similar statement that all machines and lines have been completely modernized, such as the slicer, the wafer, the first and second fermentation rooms, and the fire house to improve the quality and quality of bread.

A fire broke out at the end of last May in the large fermentation room and a number of engines and equipment used in the baking process at Salhab Automatic Bakery, which led to it being out of service.
